From a modest start in our home in 1988, Kitchens by Teipen has grown into a nationally recognized award-winning design firm with a reputation for custom designs at prices that fit.

Thanks to an ongoing commitment to education, our designers are fluid with a full spectrum of styles, whether contemporary, Arts & Crafts or traditional. Their knowledge of design is such that they are regularly sought out by journalists to be interviewed as local experts for design stories.

But more important than journalists listening to us is the way we listen to you. We work intensely with each client and make it our priority to truly listen to your wants, needs and constraints. We don’t stop designing until we’ve hit upon your dream room, even if it means going through 4 or 5 drafts. Our designers can fashion kitchens, bathrooms, libraries, entertainment centers, laundry rooms, built-in cabinetry and more. 

As a small company, we’re able to quickly and effectively respond to your questions or needs. With Kitchens by Teipen, there’s no need to search out or coordinate sub-contractors. We employ a full-time job coordinator to ensure that each detail of your project is carefully considered. One of our sub-contractors is also Indiana’s only Certified Kitchen and Bath Installer (CKBI).
