In January of 2007 KBTI starts its 19th year supplying
the discriminating Indianapolis market and the surrounding areas
with award winning design and service.
In April Mike will have completed over 33 years in the business.
Mike was selected to be one of only 14 people in the nation to
become a judge for the prestigious NKBA National Design
Competition. Robin Ettinger, marketing director for NKBA, said
she felt the group of judges represented the "creme de la creme"
in the kitchen business. Mike also wrote an article published in
the fall edition of Signature Kitchens and Baths magazine on
design.
January 2007 - Installation commenced for the
Tuscan-themed cabinetry in a new custom home on a Northern
California Ranch.
November of 2006 - Kitchens by Teipen was honored as
runner-up award for a stunning bathroom entry in the Medallion
Cabinetry National Design Competition. The award includes round
trip travel for two to the National Kitchen Conference in Las
Vegas, Nevada, hotel accommodations and free entry into the
conference.
April 2004 - KBTI was
awarded 3rd Place in the NKBA sponsored National Design
Competition for a beautiful built-in fireplace installation in
the "Other Room" category. (National Award)
June 2004 - KBTI was
awarded 1st Place Gold Award for "Living Areas" for
our entry in the Indianapolis Monthly's Interior Design
Competition. (Top Local Award)
August
2004 - KBTI received the 3rd place award in the National
Kitchen Design Competition sponsored by Signature Kitchens
& Baths magazine. (National Award)
